Man in the Mask

by Seronum   Sep 13, 2006

Corrupted and misjudged in the face of all mankind, are the followers of hate who have nothing left to find.

I cant see my own reflection anymore,
Its the man in the mask behind everyone who's lived,
feared by all who oppose him with nothing to give.

Poor and misled dying in the face of a stranger,
Who's only way of happiness is release of all the anger.

A character so bold he weeps on the floor, waiting for the next victim to come fourth.

The man behind the mask who's destiny has been slayed,
by the acts of a demon drowned in disgrace.

Together we are one in the mirror i stand before,
watching with gazing eyes at the stranger who is more.

So delicate and strong these tears they keep themselves hid, from those who might see the man that hides within.

I am that mask the part who is grim, the piece of the puzzle that can never fit in.

Over whelming and revered to all odds, the man in the mask repeats all his flaws.

One by one he is shunned by all, who fear the man that takes the fall.

Behind an innocent with no trace of hate. In the mirror lies the mask and the man of all fate.
