The hidden killer

They say to me 'that it is true'
they say to me 'it has feelings too'
they say to me 'it never dies
they say to me 'theres no goodbyes'

they say to me 'it makes you fly,
it makes you feel like you can't die'
they say 'its pure thru and thru'
they say 'it cant hurt when its true'

they say 'without it you will die'
they say 'it happens when its time'
they say 'dont worry, dont be afraid'
they say 'it helps you sleep in bed'

but my reply is not as kind
forget that crap coz it does die!
how can one fly with broken wings
when all is dark and grey within

heres my adivce, from me to you
dont fall in love its never ture
dont let yourself be caried away
fight the feelings another day

love comes with one guarantee
you end as screw up as me.

    Love comes with one guarantee
    you end as screw up as me.

    i love this line - it sums up your feelings in the poem perfectly. I have at times felt like this. I never did understand "its better to have love and lost than never loved at all" You cant miss something you never had.
