Colors

by emmerz   Sep 16, 2006

Until I'm free, I aim to be
White as the fresh new snow
As pure as a lamb, in all that I can
In darkness I'll be the glow

In anyones mind there comes a time
When pink brings thoughts of bubblegum
Pop! Pop! and then I'm off
To the girly world I'm a part of

Then as my heart tears apart
Due to a billowing flame
Red is what I feel, a part
Of playing the love game

In a new situation, full of creation
When I'm shy and contained inside
It really feels like orange is real
Yet I'm so afraid, I hide

Then the sun comes shining like a gorgeous diamond
Bringing yellow thoughts to my head
From friendly places and beautiful faces
I forget why I wanted to stay in bed

Today must be a lucky day for me
Because of how green I feel
Not of sickness, but of clovers
I just hope that its real

And with that luck that I won't tuck
Away in my pocket for later
Blue is the bold story untold
Of a girl who met a stranger

Then on that first date, not a moment too late
He comes running in
He compliments her best on her dark purple dress
And opens the door to step in

As soon as its over, she runs for cover
Thinking of black and how stupid shes been
He wasn't the prince she thought she would kiss
So now there's more frogs to win

Not a moment too soon, these colors show through
White, pink, red, and orange
Yellow, green, blue, purple and black
When you look for them, life is never boring

** OK... I have NO IDEA why or how I came up with this, and I know its pretty terrible, but I thought I'd put it on here.So , comment and vote if you want...your choice*

This was very random. Not your best. It feels like you just jumped themes to get colors in.
