Her Father

*I wrote this one for my buddy Traci and other people in her situation!

Regardless of how hard this girl chooses to strive,
She gets beat as if being punished for being alive,
He makes her feel like a mistake that does not deserve to be on Earth,
He compares her and a penny; as though they have equal worth,

Now she is very close to making the decision,
of killing herself or giving her self a big incision,

The situation continues to worsen,
It's her father that is this horrible person,
He is the reason for her pain; the reason she suffers
she continues to stay optimistic; and that makes her tougher

The sweat from the soccer game,
mixed with the tears from the whooping,
feels like acid; feels like her face is cooking,
Her self esteem and pride has been taking,
She is confused and her body is aching,

She felt so proud because she tried her best,
But he still was so disappointed and so stressed,
And she is just so lost and confused,
Even if she wins; she still will lose

Unless she is good enough for her father's satisfaction,
Even then; will he ever have a positive reaction,
This is a huge problem that needs to be solved,
Get the law and even the Lord involved,

There are so many cases of abuse;
physically or in the form of words spoken,
That is the reason for many hearts broken
