Leaving

by sadeyes   Sep 19, 2006

She stood in her bedroom
Crying and standing in disbief
Is this really the end
She slowly packed her things
Can't believe she's leaving

She just keeps falling
And her words never came out
Wanting to never to let go
But the choice isn't hers
He's the one who walked away

She carried all her things to the car
Finally the last box was out
She took one last look around
And took a deep breathe
Her life was over
To her, her broken heart
Will never mend

I can relate to this.It is hard. But it is a matter of perspective-the ending of one thing is the beginning of something new.It is emotionally exhausting, but never lose the capacity to love-it will get you through rough times, always hold on to your hopes and dreams.Never regret a love lost.Things do get better if you let it, if you allow youself to heal and not put up walls.Sometimes you must force yourself to rise above your mood.I've been there a few times myself.Never give up.Best wishes.
