YOUR LOSS

by Yvette O Hines   Sep 19, 2006

We met over the internet.
We became friends.
We talked over the phone.
I could talk to you about anything.

Then with several life changing events in my live we became more than just friends.
You moved into my home.
We were engaged.
We made wedding plans.
You were my best friend, lover and sole-mate.

We were very happy.
Then it happened.
You started hanging out late.
Not going to work.
Things came up missing.
You started receiving phone calls on our cell.
That you claimed that you did not know who they where.

You started not coming home.
Then you started accusing me of things.
Then you started changing.

You became a stranger.
Someone that I could not figure out.
You were not the same person that I fell in love with.
I wondered where he had gone.

I decided that we needed to part.
You called and asked that we could meet up.
I would meet you and then she would show up causing a seen.
You would say that you did not have anything to do with her.

Why would she call me and leave mean messages on my phone.
But the story was always the same.
I do not want to be with her.

But you were not getting the point.
You see we were a match made in heaven and you had to destroy that.
I have found someone new.
He makes my heart yell with happiness.

My mind is full of joy.
He keeps me active.
He speaks to my soul.

Your loss.
