Ghost Whisper (pt. III)

by Banana   Sep 20, 2006

He reached his hand out for me,
Held me like he wouldn't let go,
Danced with me below the willow tree,
And said the world must never know.

Endless nights of meetings forbidden,
Countless 'last kisses' before morn,
A love we swore to always keep hidden,
One life lost and one revenge sworn.

He is always with me in my heart,
Though his being is six feet below,
This life and his never torn apart,
For he promised to never let go.

I feel the words in this poisoned air;
The words will never desert me.
I sense the love still hanging there;
Though our love may never again be.
