Only thing i have left

Tears brim my eyes, they run like blood.
i try to understand how you can say such things.
small words.
they hurt deep.
i cry a bloody river of tears.
it hurts so bad.
i never knew i could feel so alone.
how can the only thing you have left hurt you so much?
my father.
all i have left.
now he seems to produce most of the pain.
cruel words.
not understanding.
not even trying.
that hurts too.
but all i have left.... is you.
