Loser's In Love's Deception

Loser's In Love's Deception

In the wee hours between dusk and dawn
She finally realized that you were gone
Sadistically you took her heart that day
You had your fun and made her pay

Now she sits in that old rocking chair
Pale faced, sunken eye and, unkempt hair
Mouthing the words of your special song
Wishing you back where you belong

She just sits, rocks and stares
Thinking how life is so very unfair
How I wish I could get a gun
Make you pay for the evil you've done

For I'm the one who loved her true
Long before she met the likes of you
I hopelessly and helplessly let her go
Her happiness meant to much to ever say no
So, you were the winner of this demonic game
In the end you had only yourself to blame
I had the satisfaction of sending you straight to hell
It was well worth a life in a prison cell

I was her husband when you took her away
In the end a bitter price we would all pay
I'm in jail for putting you in hell's lair
... And she sits insane in that old rocking chair
