Falling

by Ana   Sep 24, 2006

With the silent clock chime
The hour has been made
The satisfaction fleeing
The empty must have stayed

Let the world leave you
And all you dearly hold
Cause everything is burning
And you're coming to a fold

Darkness is no enemy
And Light can only flee
Innocence is dying
Not what it used to be

Give all you chose to sacrifice
Not all you chose to want
Leave the comfort of your mind
Its mocking like a taunt

Watch the moon fade slowly
Its running from the dark
For as it hides behind you
The final it will mark

Hide the cracks surrounding
Strengthen up your wall
Prepare yourself for battle
Will you win or will you fall?

Cool poem, lots of cool imagery. Some of what you say is so true too.
