Now that your gone

by Brittany C   Sep 25, 2006

You left me,
your friends,
your family;
you left us all,
why?

Now that you’re gone,
she has no one.
So she drinks away her sorrows.
Drowning her in allusions,
and closing her off from the world,

Now that your gone everything seems wrong
A world that was once bright, sunny, and full of life
is now dark, cloudy, and dead.

Your mom cry herself to sleep every night,
and your dad takes out his anger on the world.
Your parents always fight now.
When they had never raised their voices at one another before,
their world has been turned upside down now that your gone,
and nothing could ever measure their pain and sorrow.

Now that your gone,
There's nothing to fight for,
No reason to live,
And now may blood will prove to you,
Just how much you meant to me,
And just how much I truly loved you,

Now that your gone.
