I am drowning in this sleep we call life
compressed in this eteral darkness alone with my fears
all hope fading away.
slowly giving into the darkness
wondering in this dark sleep
looking for the light that will wake me from this painful mess,
drifting for feet, yards maybe ever miles
there are no mile markers or exit signs on this dark plane
just a large void of darkness
my heart hurts with a lonely pain
the beats are growing short
the breath are becoming shallow
the darkness is suffocating me
i fall to my knees and cry out to the light to save me from this swollowing darkness
a hand appears in front of me
i take it like a life raft
all the darkness vanished waking me from this sleep
i can once again see the world around me
the hand belonged to you my love.... i will never let go of it.
