Losing Love

by Cathy   Sep 26, 2006

I lost a love I thought was great a love so dear it seemed like fate
It brought me smiles I thought would never fade, it gave me happiness I thought would stay
Until I realized the lies and deceived that you held in, that is where it started my sadness begin
I thought for one second to give you the benefit of the doubt but knew deep down in my heart the truth you were about
I lost a love and it hurts so much, if only you had a faithful touch
Things would be different they wouldn't be this way, my smile would still be here it never would have fade
