A Story

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Sep 29, 2006

Everyone has a story to tell,
Words ringing through their heads, clear as a bell.
Written on tiny bits of paper,
Engraved on a tree,
Stuck inside a novel,
Or just given straight to me.
Everybody has a poem,
Waiting, just there, inside her or him,
Fingers itching to get it out,
Knowing, someday, they'll remember them.
Hidden in a shopping list,
Or found inside a picture frame,
Some waiting to be published,
Others found without a name.
Every person in this world,
Has thoughts and dreams to share,
And once you take the time to look,
Every word suddenly appears.
So open your eyes, and listen to your heart,
Let the words of your life unroll,
And finally, you'll be able to see,
The stories and glories of your heart and soul.
