Opinionated Love.

by Megann Lee   Oct 1, 2006

If there was one thing I could wish for, it would to be to never have my heart broken. I'd just want to have been happy, knowing it would never have been crushed, and stomped on, like so many times before. What is it that we want when we date someone? Are we really in love? Do we just like the fact we have someone whom will say they love us, and someone who is always there for you when you need them. Honestly, when you date someone do you truly love them? Do you ask yourself that, so you know what your feelings are? Are you so sure about it when you date that you know deep, deep, down inside that he or she is the one - Someone you may spend your life with? As well, what is it with people in the whole age thing?! Seriously I mean give me a break, age doesn't mean shit if you feel for someone more than you have felt and loved anyone ever. It's just a silly number it shouldn't matter, but we all know in some form it does. From my soul point of view, I think age is nothing; it shouldn't matter if two people love each other. I do however think that some people may be too young to understand the true meaning of love. I don't mean it in a rude, or ignorant fashion, cause I know people whom have loved since they where children, and have grown up and lived happily. I am merely stating some people have no idea what the true definition of love actually is. They might have grasped the concept of love, but not the true meaning. It may depend on sole how they where raised around it, and what their parents taught them. If could even be learned by not having people love them, and them learning the hard way. I can't give anything but my point of view on what I have seen with people and love. I am nothing more than an ordinary person, explaining what I see from my point of view. From what myself have seen as well as been through.

I am not old, nor am I extraordinarily young either. I am young enough to make a lot of mistakes, and old enough to know right from wrong. No soul person in this world can be perfect when it comes to love. We all make our mistakes, some bigger than others of course. Some might make small mistakes that seem like nothing to them, and mean the entire world to one person that they love. It doesn't matter if you are young, or old. Strong or weak, skinny, tall, fat, short, black, white, blue or even green for that matter. We are humans; we all mess up at one point or another. Yes, no one is perfect. We all know this. Thereâ??s not one single person in this world who has not messed up greatly in one way when it comes to love. If there was I would like to meet them face to face. There are so many myths with love; it's rather ridiculous and funny. How about those stupid love rules you hear about, or talk about? Hmm? How that if you never fight you won't last. Yet if you fight you won't last either... I don't get that. If you don't fight, and you do fight, you won't last either way? I am not making that up either for those who think I am pulling that from my magical hat of facts. I found it once on some website. I don't remember the name, nor do I care to remember the name. It had all these facts, I found stupid, idiotic and rather pointless. Its love you can't tell someone how to operate it. It's not like a car, or a tractor. It does not come with an instruction manual, or owners guide. Nor does it come with a book called "The Proper Way to Love" sure maybe if there was such thing as proper and perfect love would be easy. No one would get broken hearts or make any mistakes. What would be the point then? If it was all so simple and easy, why would we want it mapped out for us? Would you want it mapped out for you? Would you like to have everything you do, needing it to be followed rule to rule, or wrong way from right to love? I surely wouldn't. I don't know about all of you but I like to learn from my mistakes... I like to know I messed up and I messed up good. I like to know no one but me screwed up, and I will be the one who has to fix it. No on else, Just me, and me alone.

-- The Start too a book or novel or story I am writing. I haven't decided yet. Not sure if I will continue with it. Down voters. Fux off and don't vote, you lame losers. The rest of you hope you like it, comments are greatly appricated along with votes. --

I love how you maintain the poetic values in the story rather than typical stanza form

Wow. This was really long, but totally worth the time taking to read it. It was so beautifully written, and a great story line for a book of some sort. I really like all the descriptions, and the vocab chosen out. Keep it up. =) 5/5 xoxo

I think this is a really great idea for a book, and i think that you have started it exceptionally well. I don't think i could ever write a book, i'm not too sure, but i admire the fact that you have that talent. You could definately keep expanding on that. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, or any way you could improve it. But i don't write stories/books etc, so i suppose i wouldn't really know. But anyway, just thought i'd let you know that i think it's great, and i would read it if you finished it. =] Great work, Keep it up. 5/5
