If Blue Mountains Could Sing

by Gregory W Golden   Oct 1, 2006

A sea of Blue Mountains
As far as the eyes can see
Sing about your blue tapestry

Sweet Blue Mountains
Your purple majesty
Deep in your eyes
The cool rivers flow
Hills and pine trees
All covered with snow

Eagles fly high
Above every hilltop
Blue Mountains roll
Down to the blue shore

Your eyes watch over me
Your voice sings back to thee

Sing in every chapel
Sing a wedding song in Tennessee

If Blue Mountains could sing, then
All the church bells would ring,
And sing, Blue Mountains is where
You belong
