Words from words of a believer

by A Metaphorical Beauty   Oct 2, 2006

I want to be there, the way you want me to be,
But I find it so hard when I disagree so despicably.
You hate your heart for loving this monster,
I hate the fact that you've fallen for a monster.
I know he says that he truly loves you,
But love doesn't bring such empty hurtful words which he cannot undo,
Your tears comfort you, but they do not love you,
They will not love you like I do.
I wont always be siding with your foolish heart,
But how can I tear fate and cupid apart,
I wish I could spit out all my venomous words on him,
Chew him up, spit him out, and show him how it feels to never win.
Your relationship, so sour sweet,
You Can't live like this if he hammers you down in defeat,
Ive loved and lost, experienced betrayal, experienced hate
but why keep fighting a hopeless debate?
A debate of love, kept secret, enclosed from reality,
What you need is affection in life, to prove your sanity,
I bet right now You're frantically scribbling,
Mellow songs in the back ground whilst you're tears are dribbling,
And crawling down your innocent cheeks,
Hiding in your hidden world, whilst you continue to weep.
Whats the point in us girls having a heart?
When guys take over and tear it apart,
They will always have power over our sex,
They push us down; make us look weak in this complex.
Leave him alone he asks of you,
And of course you will because you do what he wants you to,
I just wish I could take over and sort out this mess,
But then again who I am? How do I know what's best?
Dont go crawling like a beggar on your knees,
Make him suffer until he comes crying "PLEASE!"
Dont choke on your words, dont give in,
Dont let this w**ker think you're sat alone, crying,
You know I'll always be holding your back,
But promise me now, that you won't crack.
Be strong; hold on for that silver lined cloud,
Cos at the end of it all, you'll be the one, stood tall and proud.
