Don't Go Chasing Happiness

by Tinkerbell   Mar 14, 2004

When my world collapsed once again,
this time there was no one,
no one to help me build it back up.

As supports begin to wiggle,
or even completely disappear,
how can the walls of life remain standing.

They all ran away, but this time I can't go after them.
This time I don't have what it takes,
to run after them.
I don't have the patience, the courage or the strength.

So much inspiration and happiness in today's world,
but it's not enough to bring smiles to my face.
All it does is make me realize,
realize what I don't have,
and what is causing all my tears.

I won't go chasing something that isn't meant for me,
That's why I let happiness keep running,
running further away from reach.

*PLEASE COMMENT...IT'S MEANS A LOT TO ME TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK! THANKS!*
