The feelings in me

by iDeePanda   Oct 3, 2006

The feelings I have cannot be suppressed
My utmost emotions are put to the test
It hurts me that I must decide
Yet these feelings of betrayal I can no longer deny

The longer I seem to hold my tongue
The more my feelings build
The fact that I cannot say what I feel
Makes my denied feelings surreal

I put them aside; forgot where I cast them
The feelings inside me shrinking
The mere fact that I have betrayed you
Has led to this source of thinking:

"Can the feelings I have be more than what they are
Or did I purposely cast them aside?
Yet the feelings are apparent wherever I step
For they are now located in my stride"
