How He Feels

Eternal darkness
has come to be
where love was lost
and grew so free

she took it away
all of my happiness
now I'm alone
filled with nothing but sadness

if only she knew
just how I felt
then she would be with me
that would've helped

now she's gone
hours away
and now all of my pain
in her heart will stay

she had her chance
to stay and wait
until I returned
that one bright day

but she couldn't
she couldn't hold on
to the one person
she had loved for so long

now she suffers
while I cry
a knife to heart
now I die
