In Her Eyes

by Cathy   Oct 3, 2006

I picked up the kids yesterday, you were nowhere around, I looked at Angelia and she looked at me with a frown
I asked her whats wrong she told me she was OK, i knew something was bothering her so I walked her way
She looked at me sad and asked if you were coming home, I didn't know what to say so I just told her no
I could see in her eyes the pain that she feels, shes daddy's little girl and her pain you could heal
I wish you could see it, my heart broke in two, I could see how much she misses you
We drove on home and she walked in her room, I went and gave her a kiss and told her this will be all over soon
She layed her head down, she is so strong, I wish you would come home you would see whats wrong
Our little girl has a broken heart, I wish you could help me heal that and not stay apart.
In her eyes she has no tears, but her secrets lie
shes probably wondering in her head why
