Death of a Loved One .

by BrokenREALiTy   Oct 5, 2006

Crying and screaming,
You were swept away.
Heart torn in two,
There's so much to say.

Hitting and kicking,
I don't wanna believe.
Bawling and yelling,
Please don't leave.

Head on your chest,
Waiting for you to awake.
Your eyes closed,
Tell me this is fake.

Hand in hand,
Yours' feels so cold.
Warmth against ice,
You weren't even old.

Shoulders shaking,
My eyes blurred with tears.
Stroking your cheek,
Why, at only eighteen years?

Drowning in tears,
Your clothes, drenched.
Mascara streeks,
And my fists, clenched.

More screaming,
And your mom's crying.
More yelling,
And I feel like dying.

Room full of sobs,
Why'd you have to go?
The fact that I loved you,
You'll never know.

Planning your funeral,
We still didn't wanna see,
The fact that you were gone,
And that we'd have to face reality.
