but I sit here,
lying in the shadow of
your departure;
this rapture of needing
you begins.

Sitting,
gazing at the
blankness
of you before me.
My body shakes,
a smother of
mascara paints
me so willingly.

Time slows,
to a halt.
I know it's not
my fault;
I just wish there
