Three Wishes

by Matt   Oct 6, 2006

The genie appeared from the magic latern,
floating before me he asked me for my wishes.
So I stood before him and I started to think
but I didn't want money, a mansion, or golden dishes.

Searching for something to wish for I finally realized
That I was as happy as I'll ever be, till I'm up in the skies.
And when the genie asked again what i would wish for,
I said I don't want riches, or happiness, or anything more,

Genie, I said, what I have is better than wishes.
I have a girl that I love, who gives me butterflies with her kisses.
And with the love i recieve, i would never need silver,
She is my world and my strength, in my life she is the pillar.

So when you ask me for some wishes the only thing i can think,
is that you give to the next man what I found in her,
cause there I've found a love that could never be truer
She is my princess, my soul and I'll love her foever.

Wow, really nice poem. Very deep, and true. I bet the girl who has you must be lucky...haha. This poem just needs a little grammer and spelling revising, everything else is great.
