Drowned Sleep

by miniszlan   Oct 7, 2006

Burning, freezing, falling down into the dark eternity of desperate pain,
Never ending stream of black blood flowing through my veins,
This is what a restless soul is supposed to bear
Longing for salvation which is lost in a labirynth of hopeless thoughts

It is so far, yet so near
The desire for being appreciated for what I am
What I life for
What I die for
The eternal sunshine my heart has been keeping since my cursed birth
Thousands of light years ago
When love was meant to be mankind's last hope

Screeching on the black ground of damnation
Arms and legs made from hope and desire for burning love,
Carrying the numb body of a desperate creature
Feeding from its own foolishness
Never ending sea of sad tears

I want to drown in them
Having an eternal sleep
Waiting for a shining soul to wake me up
