I cried and cried till no tears fell
Why cant I, in your spirit dwell?

I tried and tried my best to be

I looked around for your arms
But could not find them… those arms so warm…

I have lost my way, I’m so dry and dead,

As I was about to walk away,

” Best friends never part, in any way,
no matter what you’ve done, I’m always here…”

I sang songs of joy, of love and praise
I thought he would not even want to see my face
But there he stood with open arms,
Ready to protect me from all harm
And help me start my life once again..
