Route Eight

by charlotte alfrey   Oct 9, 2006

As your defences fall down
I can see you are a venerable man
In a world tha is tied up
Where people sing of forgotten morals
I wonder as I sit and compromise with my many different thoughts
I am not quite sure why my heart bleeds for yours
As the night sky draws
The stars reflect like patterns in your eyes
As my heart begins to beat out of control
Full with thoughts of you
Wondering if you will love me through the rain and fallen leafs
Which soak up the tears that linger from our past
I pray you don't get too disorientated
Through the dust of our souls
Leaving behind all the broken halves of time
Searching for a way to love each other like we should
