Pills

by The Girl From Yesterday   Oct 9, 2006

A teenage girl
alone in her home
shielded from view
in her own dome
blinds closed
lights off
mad at the world
and the ones who scoff
she goes in her bathroom
closes the door
turns on a light
and opens a drawer
she takes out a bottle
takes a pill or two
but then she thinks
"whats left to do?"
she dumps the whole bottle
into her hand
and turns the music
to her favorite band
she yells out
"this is for you!
you said you loved me
now heres what I'll do"
she leaned back her head
and swallowed the pills
she took some water
which started to spill
she slumped on the ground
her eyes closed tight
to late she thought
"this isn't right"
tears slipped down
as she cried
but they soon subsided
as she slowly died

The rhyming is great, it is really good! The flow is off at parts, but it's not a big deal in this poem anyway.
Kind of suprised no one has commented this before, it's awesome
    Good job
    5/5
