For a Friend I Hold Dear

by Kylead   Oct 10, 2006

This is the story a person who lives close too me and I bare not the courage to tell her that she’s messed up. In and out of relationships some a distance to far by age and some by miles away
She constantly back tracks her thought running in her head till she is out of breath.
Faster and faster she runs but the thoughts remain endless in her head.
Now it would seem she slowly recovering from the impacts of misery or hiding the pain in her heart.
On these problems I dare not speak
For fear words of guidance might turn into words of suffering and despair
But I know I must act before it becomes too late
Because she now turns to drugs for emotional support
And every passing day the cuts seem deeper
Day by day she slips away until one day it becomes too late
And now it seems I have waited to long and she is now too far gone
Now the only thing left for me
Is too prey for you and hope that you return to gods good grace

This certainly holds the readers attention well... very well composed

(ps, I don't really think anything I produce is book worthy to be honest)
