Dawn

by Grotesque Angel   Oct 12, 2006

Light trickles over the plain,
transcending a yellow glow upon all life,
Illuminating the shadow,
Warm to the touch

Suddenly the shadow grows,
Dark it is again,
First I thought it was a cloud,
Filled with crystal rain

But I see what has become,
Of our bright life god,
A pitch-black ball of nothing-left,
A shameful timeless state

Light
Shadow
Death
