Soldiers Preyer

by Kylead   Oct 12, 2006

My soft smelling angel wrap your wings around me be my shield from darkness, lead me out of agony.

Bind my wounds give me the power to do my duty
Make bullets fly straight and let them kill the sand packer who is shooting at me

Let your wings guard me from bullets of the dirty female dog that tries to shoot at me

Let your shadow watch over me while I sleep and keep out any cheaply made grenades

Let your eyes gaze upon me my angel and give me the speed I need to doge their twenty cent Rocket propelled grenade launchers

Lay your hands upon my shoulders angel and watch me as I watch the road and drive

I ask you to Shepard me away from road side improvised explosive devices that are cheaply rigged and theirs roads so cheaply made that they might cave in.

I also prey my angel that hoagie fires his AK-47 too long and it burns into his skin

With all this done my dear angel I believe the battle is won.
The last thing I prey for is that you would bring me home safely

Amen
