Finely forever freed

by Gillian   Oct 12, 2006

Wake me before I slip away
Before my dreams take what's
left of my will to live

Wake and before my nightmares
become to real that I feel I would
rather die then live this way

Wake me and take me in your arms
and wipe away my unshed tears

Make my believe once again
that like is beautiful
convince me that the lies I believed
as a child are indeed true

Make me believe that I still love you
and that you love me
Make me forget all the pain
you've caused over the years

Give me back the innocence
of my childhood
take my knowledge and so called
wisdom away

Give me back my happiness
even if it's just for a moment
then let me die in my terror ridden sleep

Take my blood and poor it onto the ground and in that soil pant a tree
so that I may live on

Burn my body and poor my ashes
into the ocean so that my spirit
my be finely forever freed
