My journey

by robin milford   Oct 13, 2006

On the road to recovery
there will be side roads
that will be tempting to take.
Because there will be hills and
mountains to climb.
The road to recovery will be
rocky and rough.
But i truly want to get better
so i wont pass on the sickness.
The road to recovery will be hard.
The road to recovery is to
take my medicine
go to therapy, get rid of bad stuff
stop absorbing poison.

A very interesting topic you chose to write on here. I liked your general idea, and the imagry is somthing most can relate to in some point in his or her life.

This was the only sentace that didn't seem to fit... it went on for to many lines trying to finnish the sentance, it threw the flow of the poem off.

This one for me was hard to give a vote on, emotions spilled like this takes some time to think on... before commiting on... is there a closure to this poem or part 2? i like to read it if so.
