Trying too hard

In my room
dark at night
Looking out the window
Trying to get a good sight.

The moon is big
The moon is full
A perfect view,
But I could not move

Lying in bed trying not to cry
All I could do was try and try
Trying to forget the pain
Thats pulling my heart
trying to forget the pain thats tearing it apart

A person like me
should be running around free
not like a bee
that could not flee
but I know that my wish could never be.
not me, not I
not myself
I cry.
