Maybe it wasn't meant to be

Looking back at every word spoken Id never imagine my heart would be broken

Trying to understand where we went wrong, not realizing our love wasn't that strong

I'm trying to figure out what made this be, the separation of you and me

I can't seem to come to a solid conclusion, I guess our love was just an illusion

Although it felt right at the time, maybe you really weren't meant to be mine

Even though my heart is still with you , I can't get over the mean things you do

I miss you with every breath I have, but I'm getting that much farther from being sad

I guess there comes a time in each persons life, where you think love was meant but it just wasn't right

Just going through a rough time right now so I just wrote what was going on in my head, please comment on my poem, let me know how it is.
