Trichotillomania

by Anthony   Oct 14, 2006

For years he's been doing it.
And its starting to show.
More patches are missing
Than he ever could know.

He's trying to stop,
And it's really not easy.
He's fighting and losing,
Now they're pointing and teasing.

Maybe if he thinks
"Keep the hands off the head",
The hair will grow back,
And not come out instead.

Or maybe if his friends
Hit him when he picks,
This whole nightmare will end
Without more painful tricks.

His parents don't understand,
They just tell him to stop,
Like it's that easy,
But they don't know it's not.

Now He's ready to give up,
He's fed up and done.
Cause he doesn't believe,
This can be overcome.

Anthony first off I want to say you are a strong individual who can overcome anything with the love and support of family and friends...even if they don't fully understand. Change is the only certain thing in life...whether it be bad or good. Your friends on this site will always be here for you.
You have taken your emotions and produced this wonderful piece of writing. You have a great way of expressing yourself. Stay strong.
    Luv Laura
