Our World

by milly   Oct 15, 2006

The dewdrop perched atop a blade of grass,
The autumn leaf lying upon the ground,
The cold wind that blows through the subway pass,
To me beauty is simply all around.
The sight of the sun as it rises up,
The hue of the sky when she’s back in bed,
The intense colour in a buttercup,
Our beautiful world can never be dead.
The sea sparkling like a pool of glitter,
Stars which twinkle under cover of night,
Baby birds that never cease to twitter,
This magical land that’s full of delight,
Always alive in unending rebirth,
Enjoy the gift of our beautiful Earth.
