If I finally had you

I've waited for 5 years,
watching you from afar.
Growing and learning about,
the person you really are.

As I started 5th grade,
middle school went fast.
As you watch the chubby, nerdy girl,
as you passed for class.

Now a freshman,
with beautiful eyes and skin.
After 5 long dreadful years,
our relationship can begin.

So I sit in the back of the room,
and watch you from my view.
Oh how amazing life would be,
if I finally had you.
