The Dove of Freedom

Slow the dove,
Of freedom's wings.
Don't let him escape.
Enslave the body,
Control the mind.
That is his fate.
See him weaken,
Watch him die.
It's the road you choose to take.
If you can,
Go back in time,
Let free the body,
Release the mind.
You should have let the truth undrape.
You should have let the dove escape.

    Omg...like that was really beautifully written! my only suggestion is to put the first letter of the first word on the 10th line down in capital letters! just it looks odd. but nice poem!

    Should i split each of the three long lines into two? or just the one in the middle... do you have any suggestions about HOW to shorten it.
