Rough Waters

Hiding away
From everyone around
I try to let it out
But cannot make a sound

Losing my way
Praying to be found
Trying to find something
To make my world go 'round

Becoming more difficult
With each new blunder
Barely breathing
I'm dropping under

Falling behind
Can't eat, can't sleep
Not understanding
These secrets I keep

Waters raging
Keeping me still
Fighting and fighting
But losing my will

Someone please help me
Please take my hand
Lead me from these rough waters
Onto dry land
