The enchanted forest

Royal flowers in bloom
summer will come soon
in the enchanted forest
glowing in the blue moon

night creatures dance and play
a beautiful sight you do say
but such a shame
all this will end today

a loud crack
a boom and a thwack
silence...

the sun will rise
to such a surprise
where the enchanted forest
should now lie

death all around
not even a sound
brought tears to your eyes
the death you see on the ground

for there is nothing left
of the enchanted forest

based on a real forest i used to visit when i was a child :(
