Didn't Come in Time

by Maybelle   Oct 17, 2006

Share your secret with me, Dear, tell me what's wrong
I can see the struggle in those dark amber pools,
My arms are open wide, but your trust limits,
I know these days it's hard to choose.

Does it hurt inside, your heart it beats,
Breath increases, and the chill moves on own,
The gun before your skin, with regrets hovering above,
The silence, does it remind you of home?

Thoughts of the discovery - bliss may forsee,
The heart develops, let it find the rhythm you hide,
Allow the gift I offer, to me, still your hand,
Result the fantasy, could-be with our souls combined.

Trigger close, head bowed to see tears meet,
Warm hands upon your cheek and soft fearful eyes,
Don't make me bury you tonight, whispers escape,
Your hand lowers with quivering lips, mine nearby.

Stillness comes to the echo of a drop, soul saved,
Close, my breath into yours and yours into mine,
Mixed emotions that fall while lips touch,

This would of happened if I came in time.
