My Other Soul...

Have you ever felt the feeling,
Of unbelievable action?
Been deceived by your best friend,
For no ones satisfaction?

This person meant so much to me,
So much you wouldn't understand.
And now all of a sudden.
There is no more helping hand.

Because a few days ago.
This good friend told a lie.
Should I judge on one small thing?
Or should I simply ask her why?

I'm scared to death of losing her.
But I'm thinking whats the point?
She obviously don't care.
She ripped my heart to the joint.

She used to be my other soul.
My floating device in a storm.
But now when I see her eyes
I don't feel as warm.

I really enjoyed the time we spent.
It meant so much to me.
I thought it meant alot to you.
But how can all of this be?

Were you lying all those other times?
The times I thought were true.
Did you listen to my problems?
Do you care about me and you?

My other soul has taken flight.
And left me far behind.
Will you ever come back for me?
When will this nightmare rewind?

I'm sorry if it's all my fault.
And I'm taking this out of proportion.
I guess I will know next time,
To choose good friends with caution.
