For Alicia

by Electric Monkey   Oct 18, 2006

Youth will fail, and time will pass;
health will leave, and age will kill.
Life and breath will fade as grass.
No place can wealth in life e'er fill.
Sight will cease, and strength will fade;
And all the ease and rest will quit.
Though one thinks he has it made,
He must through pain and waste admit
That all the tings of life will end
With no more good than at its start.
Time our health will then expend
And rend our loves from out our hearts.
But you will always be the one
Who ne'er changes when it's all done.
