No More Tears

by Tinkerbell   Mar 16, 2004

The little six-year old girl,
spends yet another night crying,
crying for a life that's gone all wrong.

She wants to be a kid,
and enjoy her young years,
but even toys are not allowed.

She wonders if life will get better,
or will things just get worse.
The hopeful wait is killing her,
killing her inside.

As the days pass.
And months turn into years,
there is no change,
only more tears cried.

The young ten-year old girl,
spends another day inside,
away from all the good.

She wants to see her friends,
or ride her bike, but instead
no privileges are given.

She stays hopeful,
that some fun can be sneaked in,
or if her life will continue down hill,
further down that already now.

But as the days pass.
And months turn into years,
there is no change,
only more tears cried.

The rebellious sixteen-year old girl,
locked up in her room,
never daring to leave that safety.

She only hears the music,
banging in her ears,
closed off from the world.

But she still wonders if there still is any hope.
She doesn't like this life of pain & tears,
but she has no way out.

But as the days pass.
And months turn into years,
there is no change,
only more tears cried.

The mature twenty-year old woman,
thinks about those years gone wasted,
wasted on the tears.

She feel like she miss out on a lot,
missed out on growing up.
Spent so many year not happy,
not happy with her life.

Now, she wonders how she could have be so sad,
and why it took he so long to realize,
realize that life didn't always have to be so gloom.

And as the days passed.
And months turned into years,
there was a change,
and no more tears will be cried.
