Just another day

by His Firecracker   Oct 21, 2006

She'll cry herself to sleep tonight
dreading the thought of tomorrow
and in the morning she'll awake
and fake a smile to hide her sorrow
she'll walk those halls in a daze
and her spirit will wander while her body stays
she'll sit in a class room full of people
and still she'll feel alone
with the exeption of the pain and sorrow
she is forced to bear on her own
she'll laugh and smile and blink back tears
while she hides the pain of previous years
and when people ask, she'll insist she's fine
but she'll wonder if they know she's lying
after school she'll grab that blade and try to release the pain
and then she'll cry herself to sleep
knowing tomorrow will be the same
