Life's a Game

by scars and stories   Oct 22, 2006

Life is now a game
And the people merely cars
Zipping all around the board
Like long-forgotten stars

Household goods buy property
A man in a top hat reigns supreme
And murders can be solved by cards
With no forensic team.

Queens dominate the white and black
Their power far superior
While the goal of others
Is just to reach the interior

While on the black and red
Kings are all that reign
And sometimes a throw of dice
Is the only way to gain

For life's a child's play thing
No matter what the name
It's all about the roll you get
And how you play the game
