Waiting for Spring

by Jason   Oct 22, 2006

Oblivion turns it head
A weeping babe is born
The youngling grows into a man
Walking in the shadow of the tearful child
Heart wrapped in winters cold
Soul only feeling storm and ice
Rejecting fear, sorrow and rage
Forgetting love, joy and happiness
Once more oblivion turns its head
He remembers the child he was
The man weeps for what is lost
Memories and tears round his neck
Now he waits for spring to bring rebirth
