Journey Beyond the Bay

by Jason   Mar 15, 2007

Once more do I cast mine eyes upon this hollowed shore
Still gazing with that same longing as before
No longer does the current call me in
Instead do the tides wash me away with my sin
Bonfire blazes to guide the wayward and hopeful
Serving as a warning to the deceitful
Once called a home by an earthen friend
Now turning this poetic chapter to the end
Wondering if this message reaches friends I once knew
