What is a Mother?

by Amnah   Oct 23, 2006

A touch of beauty
A hint of grace
Warmth of the sun
Touch of wind on face
Majesty of the mountain
Innocence of a child
Beauty of the flower
Tameness in the wild
Rain in the drought
Shade in scorching heat
Selfless love and endless devotion
For her is no big feat
Light in the darkness
Bright as a star
All across the world
She’s never very far
To hold and love
To take care
And always welcome guest
A very perfect host
All I can say is
“Mother, I love you the most!”
